Employers Like the Fresh Ones!
When you go to the grocery store, do you ever check the freshness date on what you are buying? Well, employers often do the same thing with your resume.
Many employers only consider the 10 most recent resumes, or only resumes less than four months old, etc. Even though you are earnestly seeking employment, if your resume is six months or more old, you may be risking elimination as a candidate for many positions.
To maximize your employability, update your resume and other documents every three to four months. It only takes a few minutes to do, but the potential benefits are enormous!
How fresh is your resume?
