Interview Evaluation
After you
complete the interview you should sit down and evaluate your
performance. Below is a list of things that you can do to evaluate your
performance, and if necessary identify improvements that you should
make for your next interview.
- Write down as many details as you can remember about the interview.
- Note the date by which the interviewer stated they would call you.
- Were you on time?
- Analyze what you did well and what you could have done better.
To be objective, take the employer's perspective when assessing
yourself.
- Did you perform adequate research?
- What questions made you feel uncomfortable?
- How was your body posture, mannerisms, and non-verbal communication?
- Did you stick to the main facts or did you ramble?
- Were you able to cover all relevant information?
- How do you now feel about the company and position?
