World Teachers' Day
celebrated by EI affiliates all over the world
This year
again affiliates worldwide, from Algeria to Zimbabwe, were involved in a
campaign celebrating teachers and urging governments to improve their working
conditions.
Teachers,
unionists but also students, parents, communities, representatives from
governments and from international institutions took part in a great variety of
activities, from songs and dance performances to a marathon, from marches to
picnics, from classroom activities to celebrations at the national level.

Next year, we count again on your strong and
creative support to make World Teachers' Day a successful day of global
campaign, helping the voice of teachers to be heard loud and clear!
