2008 ASPA Conference - Preliminary Information
The 2008 ASPA Conference will be held in Perth on 21-24 September with the theme:
Imagine Create & Transform
Love it or hate it, Information Communication Technology (ICT) pervades every aspect of our lives.
“But
now is the time to worry about whether we are using …. technology to
improve quality, increase access, and enhance the flexibility of
learning programs”1.The value of ICT is recognised everywhere. Will ICT
be our saviour? Where is ICT taking us or are we taking ICT? How will
ICT figure in our educational system? Will it drive it or be driven by
it? This conference will take you into the realms of imagining and
beyond! Jump on board the tardis and travel through 2008, 2010, and
2015 to a whole new educational ‘cyberspace’ where you will be able to
imagine, create and transform the members of your learning community."
