National K-6 Classroom Literacy & Children's Literature Conference

This national literacy conference provides professional development for thousands of classroom educators, providing knowledge, techniques, and activities that can be implemented into the classroom immediately.

Attendees will obtain high-quality professional development regarding research-based instructional strategies designed to ensure that young learners are successful readers and writers.  Over 150 sessions including early literacy sessions for K-2 teachers,  intermediate literacy sessions addressing grades 3 – 6, classroom literacy sessions for grades K - 6; literacy coaching sessions; Reading Recovery sessions; and administrative and research sessions for school administrators.  Conference also includes keynote speakers, literacy experts Mary Fried and Regie Routman and author, Katherine Paterson, plus 9 Featured Speakers; 8 Preconference Institutes, and the School Administrators Institute. 

This literacy conference offers a wide range of session topics for K-6 educators including reading (fiction & non-fiction), writing, children’s literature, comprehensive literacy, and more.  Conference speakers are experienced literacy experts and children’s authors from around the world.  Join us for the nation’s premiere K-6 literacy conference.
