I am currently seeking a teaching job in any State in the US. I currently am busy putting up a site for English learners as well. Teaching is almost like a hobby than a job for me. If you happen to know how to help me grab any chance to teach in the US, please do not forget to contact me. <br>

Comment on Get Canadian Teaching and Other Education Jobs Feed to your Browser/RSS Reader

Each province and territory require that you be certified. Well alI have to say is this, I am a certified teacher in Canada and I can't even get a full time job. I was lucky enough to get hired on the supply list and well so far 2 calls this year..Maybe you should rethink the idea. Sorry just very anal when it comes to our Country and the way they graduate more and more teachers with no jobs to offer.

Comment on Over 20,000 teaching & other US education employment opportunities ....

I am currently teaching in the US. I am Canadian and went through a interesting route before landing here. I got my teaching license from the US first and then moved to England where I taught at the primary level for 4 years. The reason I ended up with a US license first, simple it was easier to get into their teachers college than Canada. I then applied to VIF and came to first North Carolina and then to Virginia and it has been a struggle all the way. I have basically been placed through teacher recruitment agencies and now am doing the visa paper work for an H1B visa which cost a fortune and takes forever. Research carefully before you pick the states as an alternative. Start by contacting school boards in states that boarder Canada, New York is always good but be warned these schools are urban and tough to teach in.

Comment on Excellent Opportunity Now Available with Top Online Education Company

I would like to know more about this opportunity.

Comment on World AIDS Day: Teachers take the lead

Hi I think its great generate awareness of AIDS!

Comment on Acing a Dicey Interview Question

Dee there are tons of jobs always available in London with supply agencies. Protocol is one of the best but beware of the dodgy ones ! Anyways the teaching job market here isn't always accommodating to foreign-educated teachers. A good idea though would be to go to provincial teaching certification websites (via a google search) and see what the requirements are for foreign teachers (if you've not done so already). Usually there is a wait of about a year or two once all of your documentation is submitted for you to be fully registered in a province as a teacher.

Comment on New Canadian Teaching & Other Education Jobs!

Are there any jobs available on this site in southwestern Ontario ? I have just returned from teaching overseas for the past 4 years and don't want to move away to another city or country just yet (nor can I afford to). In the city I live in (Windsor) I have applied to the local public board and have not gotten an interview as of yet despite my experience. It is very frustrating applying to jobs outside of teaching which I am overly qualified for (that I don't want to apply to in the first place but when you can't find a job in education this seems to be your only option!)I have noticed that Education Canada has a lot of jobs in the GTA area but nothing in Southwestern Ontario. Is there a reason for this or do the boards in SW Ont prefer not to use this site ?

Comment on New Canadian Teaching & Other Education Jobs!

Hi, I am a Special Education teacher in Alaska and I was looking at teaching some where in British Colombia area.
